“ And the stars of Heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall  be shaken,”

~ Mark 13:25

By the evening soft moonlight changed the northern lights; singing of cicadas and nightingales  changed sounds of the daytime. The family walked together to the tranquil pond. The night was  perfect for stargazing. Lucy and Sonya stretched on the grass, accompanied by their parents.  Sonya, who was a little bit over one year old in the Outland, just about seven months before, now  looked twice her age and could already pass for a three-year-old. Ever since they reunited, she had  become Lucy’s constant companion, following her everywhere and engaging in non-stop chatter.  Resting her head on her sister’s shoulder, Sonya couldn’t take her eyes off Lucy, as she gazed at  the stars above.

“Do you like it in the kingdom, Lucy?” she asked, gently touching her sister’s face, to capture  her attention.

“Of course, I do. It is absolutely perfect here. Why did you ask?”

“You and mommy will not leave me anymore, right?”

Lucy turned to Sonya and beamed a smile.

“We never had any intention of leaving you. We missed you and father dearly. We searched high  and low not knowing where to find you, she replied with heartfelt certainty. Engaged with the  conversation she turned to her side, and embraced her little sister, their eyes locked with an  unspoken bond. “We hoped that you would find us there, in the Outland!” Lucy continued, “Did  you ever try? We were trapped among strangers who remembered nothing about you and dad,  nothing!” Lucy’s eyes sparkled with frustration.

“Perhaps, you were lost in time, like we did, when we tried to find you! Of course, we missed you so much,” Sonya sighed, “We went to the Outland to search for you once. But we couldn’t find  you and daddy said that we were also lost in time.  It was even hard for us to find our way back  here. We are not perfect,” she pursed her lips and sadness shadowed her expression for a moment.

“Hey, we are together again, don’t worry now,” reassured Lucy, then continued with a smile, “I saw  you and daddy in my dreams, nearly every night! I saw the kingdom as well. I never stopped  thinking of you even though nobody in the Outland could believe that I had a father and a little  sister, except for mom and Mr. Cosmos’s family; they knew I was not imagining you.”

“I think that the Happicles V helped us to find one another.”

Lucy’s curiosity piqued as Sonya mentioned the Happicles V. She leaned closer to her little  sister, her eyes filled with wonder.

“The Happicles V? I remember them! How did they help us find each other?” Lucy asked, her  voice filled with anticipation.

Sonya’s face lit up, excited to share this magical secret with her elder sister, she whispered,  “You can’t see them, but you can feel them and talk to them. They can understand. Though they  are really tiny, they are very smart. I think they are perfect. But they don’t want to stay in the  Outland for long, this is why we couldn’t find you at once. Maybe later they will stay in Outland  and then it will be perfect, just like here! Our dad and his friends are working on this.”

“Wait, are there other people here, in the kingdom, then?”  “Yes, there are many people here.”

“The people from dad’s laboratory? They worked together in the Meadow of Light, right?”

“Probably!”

“You were a little baby at the time. I remember he told me about Messers, too. They are also  tiny, but they are far from perfect. They are mean, because they like to mess up everything around.”

“Don’t worry, sister, there are no Messers here, in the kingdom,” Sonya giggled.

“Good. I wouldn’t want them to mess up something again.” Lucy confirmed, “It is all because of them that we lived in different worlds. Happicles were afraid of them and left.”

“Happicles are perfect. They are not afraid of anything.” Sonya rejected.

“If they are so perfect, why did not they make it for all of us?”

“It is not because they are not perfect, it is because we are not perfect. Time will come when Happicles will make it for all of the people. Daddy, say it is true!” Sonya demanded and startled Ray, whose loving gaze was fixed on Grace’s face while she was explaining something about the stars she was looking at. When the question arose, she turned to Ray.

“Yes, this is true. Time will come and there will be no difference between this world and the Outland.” Ray agreed. Do you want to know what happened on the night when our family was torn apart between the two different worlds?”

“Please, daddy?” Sonya and Lucy asked.

“Professor, we are all ears. Tell us all the secrets you know” Grace smiled.

“Everything important, what is happening in the Outland, first prearranged here and monitored from here. Ray began. When the Happicles were discovered, adversaries and a shady Syndicate learnt of the Project and decided to steal Happicles. They wanted to capture me and make me work on them. They wanted exploit Happicles. It couldn’t happen. Then Kingdom sent help, to rescue me. Our friend Mr. Cosmos, playing a double agent, took me in his custody, to confuse the Syndicate. Then the project was overturned. Do you remember the night, Grace? You were so brave defending me at that time!”

“No,” Grace shook her head. “I don’t remember at all. I hope it isn’t because of my old age”, she jocked awkwardly.

“Now I recognize my old chap Grace”, Professor Ray chuckled.

“Now, I remember that eloquent conversation was one of your talents, Ray. You are  in the center of the Universe, again and forever.” Grace retarded.

“If I am the center of the Universe, then I must  be Lord Almighty.” Ray puffed up his chest and looked with importance at giggling daughters.

“I am not an old chap!” Grace please protwsted again, pretending to be insulted. “Look at me closer, professor. I am a young, beautiful, gorgeous woman, your muse”. She turned to daughters, “You have to remind  yourself, who you are, gals, when your husband is forgetting about it. Besides, this is true, you are  Lord Almighty if you believe. You are made by His image.”

“Image isn’t the whole package, is it?”

“It is in your power to make yourself the whole package, if you believe.”

“Are you serious? Do you truly believe that anything that is possible for our Lord may become  possible for us?”

“Is not this kingdom the proof, Ray?”

“I didn’t create it.”

“You discovered it. Isn’t it almost the same?”

Ray didn’t answer. He looked at the sky. It was speckled with bright stars.

“Can you see that little star? He pointed to the sky. The one to the right of Cassiopeia? Was it  always there or did it just appear?”

“We don’t know.”

“I want to name this star Gorgeous Grace, . . . daughters, what is your choice?”

“Let’s name it “Islander’s Dreamer”, Lu  suggested.

I propose to name it “Ship of Magic” . . . The ship is coming our way . . . It is bringing all beautiful  dreams to come true,” Grace said.

“I like mom’s choice,” Sonya replied. Ray and Lucy agreed it was the best.

The Ship of Magic, as if it understood, twinkled and went down, closer and closer and closer.

“Let’s make a wish,” Lucy exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. “I long to witness a  magnificent waterfall of falling stars!”

As soon as the words left Lucy’s lips, a dazzling spectacle unfolded in the sky. Stars began to flash  brighter and descend from their ethereal abode. It was a sight to behold—an awe-inspiring cascade  of stars, each bearing its unique size and color, traversing the dark expanse of the night sky. With  every touch of the horizon, they illuminated the heavens, only to fade away into the depths.

“Let us dream our grandest dreams,” Grace extended an invitation to her family, embracing the  enchanting moment. “This is the perfect time.”

Lucy’s eyes sparkled with delight as she suggested her wish. “I dream of a world without the  confines of school, where sweet candies are awaiting wherever we desire them.”

“Ice cream and playful puppies scampering all around!” Sonya added passionately.

Her sister echoed with equal fervor, “And charming kittens, spreading happiness with their gentle  purrs.”

“Dearest daughters,” Grace interjected, her voice tinged with a touch of amusement, “your fervent  dreams might bring about a whimsical conundrum. Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue  if a waterfall of puppies and kittens flooded our reality?”

Undeterred, the falling stars continued their descent while the family watched in astonishment.

Lucy took a moment to contemplate her desire, feeling a profound sense of purpose awakening within. “I wish for the knowledge of the Kingdom of Grace to everyone who is asking for it,” she  announced with conviction. “And furthermore, I wish for Messers to cease their chaos, so that  Happicles V may find peace in the Outland and transform it into a realm as magical as the  Kingdom.”

Sonya beamed back at her sister, her excitement infectious. “Certainly, Lucy! The Happicles V are  perfect for the job.”

As Lucy listened to Sonya’s words, a surge of determination coursed through her veins. Then, a  thought struck her. “If they accomplish this, will there be any distinction left between the Outland  and the Kingdom?”

“Absolutely not,” Sonya wholeheartedly agreed.

Ray, buoyed by his family’s enthusiasm, eagerly interjected, unable to contain his excitement.  “You’re both right—I can feel it now more than ever. Do you want to know why?” he questioned,  a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

Lucy eagerly asked, “Please, Dad, enlighten us!”

Sonya joined in, her voice full of anticipation. “Yes, Daddy, share your wisdom with us.”

Grace couldn’t help but join in the playful banter, gently kissing Ray’s cheek. “Oh, dear Professor,  please divulge all your secrets.”

Ray chuckled, then shifted his tone, acknowledging the gravity of the moment. “It’s no secret at all.  I want you all to recall the scripture from the Bible, Mark 13:25. Does it ring a bell?”

Grace’s curiosity stirred, and she replied, “Ah,  if I recall correctly, it pertains to the Second Coming,  doesn’t it? Please, go on. Your knowledge rivals even that of the Pharisees,” she teased.

Ray chuckled once more, embracing the importance of the moment. “The sky above us holds the  answer. Witness the miracle that unfolds before our eyes. This event is not solely for our family’s  celebration, though that is undoubtedly a joyous aspect of it. I couldn’t help but contemplate the  significance,” he continued, his voice tinged with awe. “The scripture in Mark 13:25 speaks of stars falling from heaven as a sign of Jesus’ second coming. And isn’t the Kingdom a glimpse of heaven  itself? Isn’t this breathtaking waterfall of stars a profound sign?”

Moved by Ray’s words, Grace replied, her voice filled with reverence. “Let us offer a prayer,  envisioning the fulfillment of these hopes and prophecies. Lucy, would you like to lead us?”

Lucy reached out her hands to Grace and Sonya, while Grace held onto Ray’s hand.

“Dear Heavenly Father, we pray to you, let your Kingdom come, let your will be done as in  Heaven, so on Earth. May we witness the glorious Second Coming of Jesus Christ, where heavenly  truth and miracles embrace the earth in never-ending joy. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray,  Amen.”

“Amen,” echoed Grace, Sonya, and Ray in unison, their hearts full of hope and  anticipation.

“Mom,” Lucy pondered, her voice brimming with curiosity, “do you think that if people  learnt to pray with faith it could unlock the power to make their dreams come true?”  Lucy asked.

Grace paused, considered her daughter’s question with utmost security. “Daughter, I  certainly think that faithful prayer and nurturing our minds to think purposefully are  of paramount importance.”

A radiant smile lit up Lucy’s face. “So, if all our beautiful dreams come true, the  Kingdom will flourish everywhere,” she proclaimed, “First I thought it was only our  Kingdom, but now I know – it is the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.”

Grace gently nodded, her eyes shimmering with the sense of reverence.

“Absolutely, darling. Everything ultimately belongs to him, – our kingdom, the outland, even the  Messers and the Happicles V. The Bible teaches us that Heavenly Father awaits patiently for every  soul to awaken and discover their path to his kingdom. His love knows no bounds.”

“I want to help our heavenly father,” Lucy declared, determination beaming in her eyes. “I want  to bring people together, just as we were brought together. We can make the outland a better place,  where no one feels lost or alone again.”

Sonya’s eyes widened with excitement, “ oh Lucy, that would be amazing! We will do it together,  definitely.”

Hand in hand the family looked up at the sky, and the stars were twinkling and falling overhead, as  they felt their bond grow stronger. In that moment they knew that they would always be for each other,  connected by the power of love and the shared desire to make the world a better place for everyone.

As the waterfall of stars changed by the first rays of morning light, painting the sky in the colorful  masterpiece, exhaustion finally overtook them. They fell into a deep, peaceful slumber, their minds  unburdened by dreams, but their hearts brimming with the boundless possibilities that come to  those who dare to dream.
