New Poem!!! Mrs. Perfect.

Missis Perfect with no effort
Cooked a ton of macaroons,
Went to sell them in the market,
Bought a million balloons!
Then she hooked them to a bus,
Filled them all with laughing gas,
And off we went away from school! –
Landed down at a pool,
Had a party till the Moon
With a runaway balloon,
Came along to say goodnight, –
The pool was shining so bright!
Missis Perfect told the Moon,
“No my darling, it is too soon!
Gliding there with the Sun
You are missing all the fun,
No my dear,
Since you are here,
Let’s cheer
And drink root beer!
Eat some cake and macaroons,
Sing along your favorite tunes!”
Then the Moon called for the stars,
That were shining way too far.
They came down all in pairs,
Down the heaven’s golden stairs!
We were partying all night
With the stars and Moon at sight.
By the morning
We were yawning,
Mrs. Perfect said “All Right!
Back to home we are going,
With the stars away we’ll glide.”
Every kid got a little star
Like a shining gliding car,-
Up and down the Milky Way,
In a dreamy swaggy sway
I fell asleep and didn’t know
How the star drove me back home.

This poem I wrote in March 2025 to make a special addition to the first book Letter Y that my friend Dezra decided to buy.
Recently Dezra’s daughter Tahira Kerttula illustrated the poem and I am glad to share this simple yet adorable in its simplicity illustration.

It will be awesome to have the whole book illustrated with the pictures from readers of my book. We can make a powerful team and a new bestseller, that will feature all the creative readers who decide to share their illustration and contribute to the new edition.
