Script The Project Partum Veritas (to be continued)

I was carrying the idea to make a movie, for a long time, based on the book The Project Partum Veritas.

After a long time of searching for the people who could help me write the scenario, I found that no one but me could start it up better. I decided to experiment and asked my Ai Copilot to help me in the writing.

Here is the result. Scenes 1 and 2 are ready. They reflect on my vision of the movie, not on the book directly.  It may not be perfect, but I hope to attract the attention of the professionals who might be interested in starting a real movie. Do you think I shall start a fundraiser?

  – **Samuel chuckles**, nudging him playfully. 

– **Grace and Katherine sit on a picnic blanket**, watching their children play. Grace cradles Sophia, who giggles while grabbing at the fabric of her mother’s shirt. Katherine brushes her dark hair back, amused as she watches the twins race Lucy. 

Ray flips a skewer, examining it closely. Samuel smirks, watching him.

Nature becomes our grid — no wires, no waste, no noise.

It’s the world reborn.

RAY shakes his head slowly, eyes fixed on the sky.

 

        RAY

Grace… no.

I couldn’t plan this. I wouldn’t even know how to imagine it.

There’s no data, no patterns…

This isn’t coming from me.

 

The families fall into a reverent silence. Gentle, shimmering light continues to drift over them, like the air itself is glowing.

 

Lucy blinks — something at the edge of the woods has caught her attention.

 

A DEER emerges from the forest roadside.

 

It steps slowly, cautiously, into the open. Its fur gleams in the ethereal light. Its EYES are large, glistening — almost human in their depth.

 

It stops a few feet away.

 

Everyone watches. The deer’s eyes lock with Lucy’s.

 

The world seems to pause.

 

A silent understanding passes — as if the deer is trying to speak with its gaze.

 

Then — the scent of meat from the grill reaches the deer’s nostrils. Its ears twitch. Its muscles stiffen.

 

It shudders — and bolts, vanishing back into the woods.

The forest returns to normal — birds chirping, leaves rustling.

Samuel glances upward — the once-bright midday sky is now orange, the sun sinking low behind the trees.

That can’t be right.

It’s almost sunset.

 

GRACE steps toward the picnic table — the grill has gone completely out.

 

The meat on the skewers is burned black. Smoke curls weakly upward.

Ray… the grill—

It turned off on its own.

 

RAY picks up a skewer, stunned.

 

        RAY

These were just turning a few minutes ago…

 

TONYA and ANTONY stand close together, quiet. TONYA looks at her dad.

 

        TONYA

Did we… lose time?

 

LUCY turns to her parents.

 

        LUCY

I don’t think we lost it.

I think something gave us a moment outside of time.

 

Everyone stares at her. No one speaks.

 

A single pinecone falls softly to the ground. A breeze picks up.

 

The world, once again, feels ordinary — but no one feels quite the same.

 

Sophia claps softly, unaware of the change.

 

        SOPHIA

(giggling)
