Let’s discuss the scripture Exodus 20:14 “Thou shalt not commit adultery”. In my opinion, adultery means deception towards our partners. When we are honest with our partners and base our relationship on love, not lust, we are spiritually and physically chaste. Therefore, chastity isn’t withholding from sex.
To expand it further, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, I want to emphasize, Chastity is all about celebrating love and family. In Mormon religion, true marriages are made in heaven, and are sealed in the Temple of Jesus Christ. We believe that forgiveness, love and family is the centerpiece of Christian faith. Let’s dive a little deeper in history. I want to explain to you further, what chastity means to me.
